This is a beautiful Hummel figurine entitled "Little
Fiddler" (mold #2) by Goebel of Germany. It features a young boy playing
a fiddle. It was first modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1935.
This figurine is mold #2 2/0 and it measures 6" tall. It has the
third trademark (stylized bee), dating the piece to between 1960-1972. It is
in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restorations. The 9th Edition (2003)
of the Miller Price Guide suggests a book value of USD $375-$400 for this figurine.
