This is a beautiful Hummel figurine entitled "Little
Hiker" (mold #16) by Goebel of Germany. It features a young boy holding a
walking stick in one hand. It was first modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller
in 1935.
There are 3 figurines available with different trademarks and different
sizes.
The first and second figurines are mold #16 2/0 and they measure 4 ¼"
tall. Each has the second trademark (full bee - shown above), dating the pieces to
between 1950-1955. Each is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or
restorations.
The third figurine is mold #16/I and it measures 5 ¾" tall. It has
the fifth trademark (shown below), dating the piece to between 1972-1979. It
is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations.
All three figurines can be purchased for the same price. Please confirm
