This is a beautiful Hummel figurine entitled "Prayer
Before Battle" (mold #20) by Goebel of Germany. It measures 4" tall and
features a young boy praying beside his toy horse. It was first modeled by master
sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1935.
This figurine has the third trademark (stylized bee), dating the piece
to between 1960-1972. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or
restorations.
