This is a beautiful Hummel candleholder entitled "Angelic
Sleep" (mold #25) by Goebel of Germany. It measures 3½" tall by 5"
wide and features an angel keeping a watchful eye over a baby as he sleeps. It was
first modeled Arthur Moeller and Reinhold Unger in 1935.
This candleholder has the second trademark (full bee), dating the piece
to between 1950-1955. It is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations.
