This is a beautiful Hummel figurine entitled "Village
Boy" (mold #51) by Goebel of Germany. It features a young boy holding a basket.
It was first modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1936.
This figurine is mold #51/0 and it measures 6 ¾" tall. It has the
second trademark (full bee), dating the piece to between 1950-1955. It is in
excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restorations.
