This is a beautiful Hummel figurine entitled "Little
Helper " (mold #73) by Goebel of Germany. It features a young girl holding
a basket. It was first modeled by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1937.
There are 2 figurines available with different trademarks.
The first figurine is mold #73 and it measures 4 ¼" tall. It has
the third trademark (stylized bee - shown above), dating the piece to between 1960-1972.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations.
The second figurine is mold #73 and it measures 4 ¼" tall. It has
the second trademark (full bee - shown below), dating the piece to between 1950-1955.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restorations. This figurine
may be purchased for USD $350 or CDN $455 inclusive.
