This is a beautiful Hummel figurine entitled "Latest
News" (mold #184) by Goebel of Germany. It measures 5" tall and features
a young boy reading a newspaper. It was first modeled by master sculptor Arthur
Moeller in 1946.
This figurine has the eighth trademark (current), dating the piece to
after 1999. The artist's initials and the number "2000" are written
in script on the bottom. The number represents the year when the figurine was created.
It is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations.
