This is a beautiful Hummel figurine entitled "Birthday
Serenade" (mold #218 2/0) by Goebel of Germany. It measures 4 ½" tall
and features a young girl playing and accordian and a young boy playing a horn. It
was first modeled by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1952.
This figurine has an older third period trademark (stylized bee), dating
it to between 1960-1963. It is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, or
restorations.
