This is a beautiful Hummel figurine entitled "The
Botanist" (mold #351) by Goebel of Germany. It measures 4 ¼" tall and
features a young girl amongst blue flowers with a bird to her right. It was first
modeled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1965.
This figurine has the sixth trademark, dating the piece to between 1979-1991.
The artist's initials and the number "80" are written in script on the bottom.
The number represents the year (1980) when the figurine was created. It is
in mint condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restorations.
