This is a beautiful Hummel figurine entitled "Birthday
Candle" (mold #440) by Goebel of Germany. It measures 5 ½" tall and
features a young girl holding a birthday cake. The center of the cake has a spot for
a candle. It was first modeled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1983.
This figurine has the sixth trademark, dating the piece to between 1979-1991.
The artist's initials "LI" and the number "86" are written in script
on the bottom. The number represents the year (1986) when the figurine was
created. It is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations.
