This is a beautiful Hummel figurine entitled "Honor
Student" (mold #2087/B) by Goebel of Germany. It measures 3 ¾" tall
and features a young boy reading a book. This figurine was first modeled by master
sculptor Helmut Fischer in 1999. It was released in the US market in the spring
of 2000 as a free gift for renewing membership.
This figurine has the eighth trademark (current), dating the piece to
after 1999. It is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations.
