Shipping Policy
We use the Canada Post Corporation to ship all packages unless another
method of shipping is specifically requested by you. Shipping is included in the price of all items in our store.
Note that we offer a variety of shipping options to cater to just about everyone's budget, timing and/or
safety requirements. Should you wish to know your different shipping options we will gladly send you an invoice showing
all your available options.
Our policy is to charge a fixed shipping cost. This cost is derived from the actual shipping costs, plus the
cost of materials, plus an optional handling fee. The handling fee depends on the amount of time required to package an
item.
We only use professional packaging materials and we take great care in packaging your treasures. If you would
like special handling of an item (i.e. double-boxing) we will gladly cater to your request, however, the fee will be
adjusted accordingly.
Cost of Shipping Materials
Our standard small-sized packages include 6"x6"x6" (15cm x 15cm x 15cm), 8"x8"x8" (21cm x 21cm x 21cm),
6"x9"x12" (15cm x 23cm x 31cm), 10"x10"x10" (26cm x 26cm x 26cm), 8"x10"x12" (21cm x 26cm x 31cm) and 6"x12"x18" (15cm
x 31cm x 46cm) boxes. The cost of these boxes ranges from $1.00 to $3.00 each.
Our standard medium-sized packages include 12.5"x12.5"x12.5" (32cm x 32cm x 32cm), 14"x14"x14" (36cm x 36cm x
36cm) and 2-cubic foot boxes. The cost of these boxes ranges from $3.00 to $4.00 each.
Our standard large-sized packages include 4-cubic foot and 5-cubic foot boxes. The cost of these boxes ranges
from $4.00 to $5.00 each.
The costs of other packaging materials, including bubble wrap, styrofoam chips, tape and labelling, is
sufficiently low that our handling fees cover these items with no additional charge. Note that all costs are expressed
in US funds.
Shipping to the U.S.
The following table lists our fees for the economical Small Packet
service. This service is available for small-sized packages that weigh less than 2.2 pounds (1kg). This service does not
allow insurance. These fees do not include the handling charges for the shipping materials (as defined above). Note
that all costs are expressed in US funds.
